IN OUR UNIVERSE, EVERYONE'S A GAME DEV!

You're invited to make yourself some money helping us flesh out our world.

We have designed a game with such a repeatable framework, that anybody who'd like to develop adventures with us is invited to try their hand at it. The beauty of it is you don't have to spend a year developing every aspect of what could be a quite complex full-blown game, but instead a single "module" that plays for 1 to 4 players over the course of something like four hours.

We have already built the world basics. Now all you have to do is help us flesh it out.

Xenxu Game is a tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG), where we're going to focus from the outset on the more socially driven theater of the mind aspect of gameplay versus the theater being presented in, say, a video game. That way, players' own imaginations are in play instead of those in the game dev studios. Unlike other games of this class, there is no Game Master (e.g. Dungeon Master in D&D), as that function will be carried out by AI on a phone or desktop app. In this way, you are more or less just telling a story in-Xenxu, and creating the encounters, decision trees, and outcomes, all decided by our Xero game engine.

Here's how to get involved. Soon, we'll be sponsoring Itch Game Jams, with some pretty serious prize money involved. Our inaugural Jam is coming up within mere weeks. Where you can make money is in two ways: 1) by winning prize money; 2) by having your adventure incorporated into the core game and receiving a royalty; 3) by buying, selling, trading, etc., any and all digital assets in our Web3 marketplace, and those digital assets could well include tools, weapons, clothing, etc., that you create for your module, and which then also produce royalties when purchased by Xenxu World account holders.

Whether you're a seasoned game designer or a newcomer to the TTRPG scene, these Game Jams provide a welcoming space for creators of all levels to showcase their talent, experiment with new ideas, and connect with like-minded individuals. By participating in our Jams, you'll have the opportunity to explore diverse themes, push the boundaries of game design, ludic storytelling, and collaborate with other enthusiasts to bring your visions to life.

If you'd like to get going now and introduce yourself to Xenxu, and to get a more complete picture of it, the best way to do that is by reading the sci-fi book, Mythion. Just reading it could give you a dozen ideas for adventures, and there are world elements which are not negotiable, such as its origin, its composition, how it works, how to switch one's consciousness into it, its sun and moon, its existing regions, its subequatorial climate and culture, its main supercity, etc. Some considerate it a sci-fi masterpiece, it's a blast of a read, and quite a mindbender, so you can't go wrong there.
